"I am ready to play comedian again," Santhanam's surprising statement!

Santhanam began his career as a television show comedy star and emerged as a leading comedian in Tamil cinema. He then turned into a hero by starring in the 2014 film 'Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham'. The actor has been avoiding comedian roles even in top actors' films since then.
Meanwhile, Santhanam recently stated that he is ready to take up the comedian role for his dear friend and actor Arya. 'Captain' is an upcoming sci-fi fantasy film starring Arya and Aishwarya Lekshmi and it is slated to be released on September 8. The movie's press meet happened in Chennai yesterday.
Santhanam was the chief guest of the Captain promotional event in Chennai. Speaking about the friendship between him and Arya, the actor said that many films have been successful because of their combo. Notably, 'Boss Engira Baskran' directed by M Rajesh is one of the blockbuster films in the Arya-Santhanam combo
Santhanam also added that if director M Rajesh is ready to make a sequel to Boss Engira Baskaran, he is ready to play the comedian role in part 2. This statement by Santhanam is a sweet surprise to his fans and his friend Arya as well. Santhanam was recently seen in the comedy film 'Gulu Gulu'.
