Director Rathna Kumar has announced his next film starring Santhanam in the lead. The movie title and motion poster will be unveiled today by directors Gautham Menon, Karthik Subbaraj, Venkat Prabhu, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Nelson at 5 pm.

After delivering super hit films 'Meeyadha Maan' and 'Aadai', Rathna Kumar co-written the story of Vijay's 'Master' along with Lokesh Kanagaraj and Pon Parthiban. Now, the young talent is again back in the direction. Santhosh Narayanan will be composing music for this film which is bankrolled by S Raj Narayanan under the banner of Circle Box Entertainment. Earlier today (March 15), Rathna Kumar took to his official Twitter page to make the announcement on the project.

Expressing his happiness about it, director Rathna Kumar tweeted, "Joining hands with @iamsanthanam na & @Music_Santhosh sir for my next Directorial. Motion poster to be unveiled by few of my favourite & happening directors tomorrow at 5 pm. Thanks to my producer @rajnarayanan_ of @circleboxE for the opportunity. . Journey Begins".

It is reported that the team has already completed the shooting for this film and the post-production works are happening in full swing, gearing up for its release very soon. More details regarding this film are awaited.

On the other hand, Santhanam has two more films in his kitty, He has completed around 70% shoot of Sabhaapathy with director Srinivasa Rao. Santhanam will also be playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. Manoj Beedha of Vanjagar Ulagam is likely to direct the Tamil remake while Riya Suman of Seeru fame is said to be Santhanam's pair in the film.
