Santhanam delivered a massive box office success with 'DD Returns' last year. However, his further films failed to follow up the success. Now, the latest is that Santa reunited with director Karthik Yogi, who earlier made Santa's OTT blockbuster 'Dikkiloona' in 2021.

Santhanam's new film with Karthik Yogi is titled 'Vadakkupatti Ramasamy'. It is a comedy adventure set in 1974 about a village and its people who are filled with superstitious beliefs. The movie is jointly produced by Trident Arts and People Media Factory. The makers unveiled the release date with a quirky announcement video today.

The 1.5-minute video is kind of a reiteration of the famous Goundamani comedy with the name 'Vadakkupatti Ramasamy'. It is coming to cinemas on February 2nd. This entertainer stars Santhanam, Megha Akash, Nizhalgal Ravi, M.S. Bhaskar, Maaran, Tamil, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, John Vijay, Ravi Mariya, Seshu, Suresh, Prasanth and many others.

The technical team comprises Sean Roldan as the music director, Deepak as the cinematographer, Shivanandeeswaran as the editor, Rajesh as the art director and Mahesh Mathew as the stunt master with choreography by Sheriff.
