Actor Santhanam who had last given the hit movie A1, is next having back to back releases with a small gap between them, as Dagaalty directed by Vijay Anand releases on January 31 and the long delayed Server Sundaram directed by Anand Balki releases on February 14.

Recently, in an event producer K Rajan made a request to Santhanam. During his speech, he said that one of the movies of Santhanam, Odi Odi Uzhaikanum co-starring Amyra Dastur and directed by Manikandan who had directed Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya has not been progressing and shoot has been stopped.

Rajan said that the reason for shooting being stopped is the condition of its producer Vasan Visual ventures, who have suffered losses in few movies and are unable to proceed with the shoot of Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum or release Yung Mung Sung with Prabhu Deva, and finally made an emotional request to Santhanam to help the producer by acting without demanding the salary.
