Actor Santhanam has been slowly and steadily establishing himself as a lead actor, and while he started off quite well with Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham and Inime Ippadithan, he scored a commercial success with the horror comedy Dhillukku Dhuddu directed by Lollu Sabha Rambala.

After the failure of Sakka Podu podu Raja, he again teamed with Rambala and made a comeback this year with Dhillukku Dhuddu 2 which was a hit and now he is gearing up for his next release, A1 Accused no 1 directed by debutant Johnson the title winner of Naalaya Iyakkunar's second season.

Now it has been revealed that the satellite rights of A1 has been bagged by market leader Sun TV for a massive price of 4.6 crores which is huge for a rising hero like Santhanam. Bollywood actress Tara Alisha Berry plays the female lead in this movie, which has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
