Actor Nikhil starrer Sankarabharanam is gearing up for release on December 4. A remake of Bollywood film Phas Gaya Re Obama, the crime-thriller is being helmed by debutant Uday Nandanavanam. Nanditha Raj is paired opposite Nikhil in the film which has directorial supervision by Kona Venkat. Initially, the makers have planned to release film in Tamil and Telugu languages simultaneously.

The latest update is that the release of the Tamil version is postponed indefinitely due to inundated rainfall in Chennai. The makers have decided to delay the release till the city limps back to normalcy. That`s not all, the team of Sankarabharanam is also planning to send relief aid including medicines of worth Rs 5 lakh to the victims of the nature`s fury. The material will be handed over to the NGO which is involving in the ground level relief and rescue operations.
