Nikhil's action-comedy Sankarabharanam has opened to negative reports on last Friday. The film which has directorial supervision by Kona Venkat has been receiving backlash for its sluggish pace and lackluster script. Realising the negative talk, the makers have decided to trim at least 12 minutes of the film.

The trimmed version will be screened from Monday across Telugu states. Starring Anjali and Nandita Raj in pivotal roles, the film is the story of an NRI who arrives in Bihar under tricky situations to dispose his swanky bungalow named Sankarabharanam.

Praveen Lakkaraju has scored the music, while debutant Uday Nandanavam wields the mega phone. Sampath Raj and Rao Ramesh played crucial roles.
