Sanjay Dutt is eagerly awaiting the response to the forthcoming flick 'EMI'.

The veteran actor's added excitement is due to him playing a real-life part for the first time in his career.

He has given life to a role of a recovery agent and as part of getting to know his character well even consulted the person on whom his character was based.

Sanjay say that he has entered a stage in his career where he wants to experiment with different roles which he has not tried out before.

He now has a special preference for real life based characters after being fully satisfied with the experience of being Sattar Bhai in 'EMI' which according to Sanju has turned out to be really good.

The baba of Bollywood also hopes that the comedy film going to hit the screens on Friday will prove to be lucky for its producer Suneil Shetty whose production company now desperately wants to hit the bull's eye with 'EMI' due to the disastrous performance of the film 'Mission Istaanbul'.
