Sanjay Leela Bhansali To Cast Salman Khan & Shah Rukh Khan For A Remake?

Ever since the news of ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali reuniting with his ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ actor Salman Khan broke, the duo have been hitting the headlines almost daily and all for the right reasons. The director is currently working for 3 of his films simultaneously and has registered the names for the movies with the IMPPA (Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association).

For the Salman film that is yet to be titled, the filmmaker has a confusion and has zeroed down to two titles - ‘Dil De Diya Inshallah’ and ‘Pyar Ho Gaya Inshallah’ for now. The title for his second movie has been finalized as ‘Gangubai’ but has yet not revealed the star cast of the movie. And the third movie is a remake of the popular Meena Kumari's 1952 cult classic ‘Baiju Bawra’ for which he has already penned down three titles – ‘Baijnath’, ‘Baiju’, and ‘Baiju Tansen’. And guess what! Sanjay is planning to rope in the top Khan stars of Bollywood! Yes, you read it right! He is planning to star Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in the movie. And the buzz is that for the female character, SLB had approached Priyanka Chopra but looks like now due to the rough patch between Salman and the desi girl, Alia Bhatt has been approached.

‘Baiju Bawara’ is the musical drama directed by Vijay Bhatt which also starred Vijay Bhushan in this film. However, this won’t be the first time the Khans would be sharing the screen space together. They have worked together for ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘Zero’ being the latest.
