Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' did well at the box office and this movie also bought B-Town favourite stars , Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the lead. For all fans and viewers who loved them on screen will not have to wait too long as director Sanjay Leela Bhansali may bring back Deepika and Ranveer Singh together for his next.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is making a movie based on the life of queen Padmavati of Chittor who performed 'jauhar' (self-immolation of queens and female royals of Rajput kingdoms when faced with defeat at the hands of an enemy) when the ruthless Alauddin Khilji attacked her kingdom, wanting to keep her in his harem. Sources say that, Sanjay has already shared the script with the two actors and they both seem to be happy with the role.

Another close source says that, "Deepika and Ranveer are both excited about the film. They are currently busy with their individual projects, but will see Bhansali soon to take the project forward. Until then, the director will finish working on the script and the pre-production formalities."

Thing movie will mark Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika and Ranveer`s third outing as a team; they have earlier worked in movies like 'Ram-Leela' and 'Bajirao Mastani'.
