The auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi festival that begins today with the holy chants of Ganpati Bappa Moriya and worshipping of Lord Ganesh's idol has been skillfully exploited by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali as a perfect marketing vehicle to promote his magnum opus upcoming film BAJIRAO MASTANI.

Keeping an eye on the popular Ganesh Chaturthi festival, which is widely celebrated with much enthusiasm and passion in states like Maharashtra, Gujarat and South India, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has intentionally used it as an ideal platform to launch his movie`s first song Gajanana…

The song that praises Lord Ganesha is thus likely to appeal all Ganesh devotees and would give a big boost to the film`s promotion.

It may be noted on September 15, 2015 the song was launched at Pune's Balewadi stadium. Marketing gurus believe the release of the song on the eve of the most revered Ganesh Utsav and that too from Pune city, which is regarded as the hub of Ganesh Chaturthi festival, is an intelligent marketing gimmick by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and it will surely reap rich dividends to him.

A marketing guru predicts, "The song is sure to became a hit as the song will be the hot favorite at all Ganesha pandals around the nation and will be definitely be played repeatedly thus making it a national craze."

"Every year there is at least one Ganesha song and with Gajanana... being the newest addition in the Ganesh Chaturthi playlist it is sure to become quite popular," he added.

The song is sung by famous singer Sukhwinder Singh, who has a range of hit song like Jai Ho.. (SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE), Banjaara... (EK THA TIGER), Shah Ka Rutba... (AGNEEPATH), Tore Bina" (KAHAANI).
