Sunday marked the 92nd birth anniversary of late actor Sunil Dutt. On the ocassion, his son and filmstar Sanjay Dutt couldn't hold his emotions and shared a heartfelt tribute to his father. It is not uncommon for Sanjay Dutt to share pictures of his parents on social media. In fact, a large fraction of his posts are about remembering Sunil Dutt and Nargis on their special days.

This time around he shared a black and white which features Sunil Dutt holding the hand of a young Sanjay Dutt and affectionately looking at him. He captioned the post as, "Always holding my hand through thick and thin. Love you Dad, Happy Birthday!"

The duo were very closely bonded as Sanjay's debut film 'Rocky' was helmed by his father himself. Their relationship was also explored in the biopic 'Sanju', where Ranbir Kapoor played Sanjay and Paresh Rawal played Sunil Dutt.
