Veteran Telugu filmmaker, Member of Parliament, director, writer and actor Dasari Narayana Rao who recently completed directing 150 films is reportedly all set to direct Sanjay Dutt. Sources close to the producer say the script of this movie is based on politics and is titled 'Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri'.

Years ago Dasari had directed 'Aaj Ka MLA' with Rajesh Khanna in lead. We hear the shooting of this movie with Sanjay Dutt will start soon in Delhi and the heroine, other cast and crew are yet to be finalised.

Dasari in fact had both Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt in mind as he felt only they were befitting for the lead role. However, since Ajay is held up with other projects for the next one and a half year, the filmmaker was left with only Sanjay as the option.

Interestingly, Sanjay is well versed with Telugu film personalities as a few producers from Tollywood had earlier produced his films. The actor also has friends in Tollywood and understands the work sensibilities and dynamics here.

Dasari is currently giving final touches to the script and will announce it himself soon.
