Actor Sanjay Dutt who just returned home from jail has received offers from leading filmmakers. But news about his biopic has already hit headlines all over. His biopic will star Ranbir Kapoor in the lead and it hopes to release during Christmas 2017.

Sources say that, the biopic will be directed by none other than friend cum filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and this movie will go on floors by September. The movie will also see Ranbir working with Hirani for the first time, though the actor did have a special appearance as an alien in 'PK', which released in 2014. He will be back on a film set after a break of almost a year-and-a-half.

While Raju Hirani has already begun work on the project as he held a camera and shot the footage of Sanjay walking out of jail. It's likely that the footage will make it to the movie. Now with Sanjay Dutt having been released, it is a possibility that he will be involved in the project and may also share inputs.
