Sanjay Dutt is one of the few actors who adapted themselves with the changing dynamics of the film industry and thus managed to stay iconic and relevant even decades after they started out. Sanju Baba started his Bollywood journey in early 80s and he is still going strong with an interesting line-up of films waiting to be released.
Sanjay, who has seen the industry evolve in last 40 years, recently spoke about the main difference between actors of today's generation and those of the 80s.
The actor told PTI, "Actors today are very dedicated to their craft. They are not conscious. But with us - me, Jackie (Shroff) and Anil (Kapoor) - we were not insecure. I worked with everyone in the industry when I started out. Same goes for Anil and Jackie, and even Sunny."
Sanjay further added, "From Dilip (Kumar) sir to Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan), we worked with everyone. We were not insecure as we wanted to learn from these stalwarts. When I worked with Amitji, I was like, ‘I’m sharing screen space with him, what can I learn from him?’ This was our way of thinking when we were working. I believe this thought process should come back."
These days Sanjay is busy with the promotions of his film 'KGF: Chapter 2' which is set to release on 14th of April.
