Sanjana enters Tollywood

Sanjana, from Kannada film world, has now signed a prestigious Telugu film 'Bujigadu in Chennai'. The movie is directed by renowned director of south India Poori Jagannath. Prabas and Trisha play the main lead pair in the film.

The beautiful girl form Karnataka, who is making foray in to ad world and remaining in the chart of top models of the country, is on cloud nine. For a girl who had a disastrous start, the opportunity is dream come true.

“When I did Kannada film 'Ganda Hendathi', I was only 17 and I did not know anything about films. I felt bad for accepting it when the negative results of the film started pouring in. I would like to forget the experience”, says Sanjana cursing her past. 'Ganda Hendathi' gave her negative publicity for her smooch scenes with actor Thilak.

'Autograph Please', Sanjana’s first film in Kannada, too bombed in the box office. She then played a guest role in 'Varasdhara' on the insistence of Ravi Belegere, the firebrand editor of tabloid 'Hai Bangalore'.

Though Sanjana’s film career is clouded by failures, her modeling career has been quite successful. She appeared with the top model and actor John Abraham for sun glass ad in the early stage of her career. The best ad according to her is the one she appeared for Saree.

Now that she has got a good offer under a reputed banner, she is happy and confident. “I am now in Tollywood and hopeful of getting good offers”, says Sanjana speaking to this correspondent of IndiaGlitz from the Ennur beach side of Chennai over telephone.

She has not given up hopes of making it big in hear native land. “I am the daughter of Kannada land and language. I am looking for recognized banner and team in my next Kannada film”, says the model cum actress with confidences.
