For over a month now, 'Happy Days' and 'Fidaa' director Sekhar Kammula has gone out of his way to reach out to sanitation workers in Hyderabad and Kurnool. The filmmaker has been giving them refreshments and other stuff as a mark of gratitude for frontline Covid-19 warriors.
Today, GHMC's sanitation workers expressed their thanks by standing in a line and holding a 'Thank you, Sekhar Kammula' message in the form of placards. Sharing a pic of the same, the director said, "I'm overwhelmed. This is a priceless gesture from the GHMC sanitation workers at Gandhi Hospital ......my biggest award. I feel extremely happy that I could do something that touched you but it's nothing compared to what you do for us, day in and day out."
'Love Story', starring Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya, is his next movie. The film has music by Pavan Ch. It will release later in 2020.
