Sangeetha who is still remembered by Telugu audience for her role in 'Khadgam' played a few roles thereafter and vanished from Tollywood. Now her Tamil film 'Dhanam' is all set to release in Telugu too.

Sources say she will be seen in the role of a prostitute in this movie. Music maestro Ilayaraja composed seven songs for this action oriented cinema.

The movie was shot in Andhra Pradesh too to suit Telugu nativity. Kota Srinivasa Rao played important negative role in the movie. Girish Karnad, Aasish Vidyarthi and Madhav are seen in it. This flick was directed by Shiva.

Addala Venkat Rao is presenting this movie in Telugu on his Laxmi Vaasanti productions banner.
