S.V.Productions 'Sangama' has made a whopping business in the first week and it is steady in the second week keeping the producer S.V.Babu very safe. As against Rs.4 crores plus investment on 'Sangama' the figures arrived by SV Babu in the second week is showing Rs.6 crores earning possibilities. A whopping Rs.98 lakhs television rights sold to 24 Carat Gold Suvarna Channel and Rs.58 lakhs earned from audio rights sold to Jhenkar Audio are leaving the producer in merry mood.
In the Bangalore, Kolar and Tumkur region plus Mysore region producer S.V.Babu released on his own and in rest of the areas he had sold the film on MG basis. In Davanagere, Bellary,Hubli, Mangalore some of the theatres have increased the shows. One theatre in Bellary is showing the collection of Rs.19000 per show against the actual Rs.14000. Babugaru appreciated the promptness of theatre. On both the sides of the theatre chairs have been arranged and that is the extra flow per show he says.
The family audiences are flocking to the theatres and enjoying the pleasant treat from 'Sangama' directed by debutant Ravi Verma says Babugaru. The music of Devisriprasad and comedy in the film are redeeming features. The sacrifice of Ganesh to heroine Vedhika is liked by the young lovers what Babugaru has discovered from a cross section of audiences.
With the good response received in the box office S.V.Babu is planning to distribute on his own his next film. For 'Josh' ready for release he is using this tactics but not going in for many theatres like how 'Sangama' was released.
