Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's crime drama titled 'Animal' (Hindi) has locked its release date. It will release for Dasara of 2022.

The project stars Ranbir Kapoor as the hero. Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Parineeti Chopra will be playing the next most important roles. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series, the film will also have investment by Pranay Reddy Vanga, the director's relative. Tripti Dimri is part of the cast.

The film was expected to hit the screens this year. Keeping in view the tight schedules, the makers are going to take their sweet time. The 'Arjun Reddy' director is also known to take longer than usual to complete a film. His Hindi debut 'Kabir Singh', starring Shahid Kapoor, released in June 2019. He has been with Bollywood since then. His next Telugu film is yet to be announced.
