Kannada superstar Upendra, known for his unconventional films and foray into politics, has shared his views on the recent Andhra Pradesh elections, praising both Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and actor Allu Arjun.

Upendra, who enjoys a cult following in the Telugu states, recently released his hard-hitting film "A." He has also been vocal about his own political beliefs, having founded his own political party after experiencing disillusionment with other parties.

Speaking about the AP elections, Upendra stated he wouldn't comment on the outcome, but he expressed admiration for Pawan Kalyan. "I am a fan of Pawan Kalyan. I like his energy and dedication. He wants to make a difference for the people," he said. He acknowledged Pawan Kalyan's party's victory as a result of popular support.

The actor then turned his focus to the broader political landscape, lamenting the current state of politics. "Politics has become a business. Money is spent to win, and it's difficult to create a corruption-free society after investing so much," he observed. He also criticized the system that often forces politicians to compromise their ideals to succeed.

Upendra offered a solution, advocating for a change in the political system. "All MPs and MLAs should work only for their salaries. The manifesto should be registered in court. If that's not possible, the people should have the power to hold politicians accountable," he said.

He encouraged voters to prioritize issues over parties and individuals, emphasizing that true political change comes from a shift in the mindset of the electorate.

Beyond his political views, Upendra also expressed his respect for fellow actor Allu Arjun. "Allu Arjun's dedication and professionalism are truly inspiring," he shared, crediting Arjun's success to his commitment to his craft. The two stars worked together in the Telugu film "Son of Sathyamurthy," directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

Upendra's comments on AP politics and his admiration for both Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun reflect his unique perspective on the film industry and the political landscape. His outspoken nature and willingness to challenge the status quo continue to make him a compelling figure in the entertainment and political spheres.
