`Sanchari', meaning a traveler from `Payana' (also means travel) fame musical film director Kiran Govi, is once again a musical film. The bottleneck of this film is the dialogue delivery of the protagonist Raj. In looks, the newcomer is OK for this role that demands such ruggedness but throughout the film the hero's Kannada diction is the great problem for the good story and music based film `Sanchari'.

Kiran Govi's learning the mistakes from his previous films has made this film more gripping with action portions to treat the masses.

Arjun the music director of this film is the first hero. Three tunes especially `Galiye Nodu Baa Deepadha Narthana.' is a very absorbing song of this film.

Who is this Sanchari with criminal mind? A small time criminal Raj (Raj) working under Gujari Gurappa (Rangayana Raghu) a waste paper seller is bowled over by the beauty of Bindhu (Biaenca Desai). Gurappa wants to contest the election and win against a strong candidate who is nothing but the father of Bindhu. Knowing well the intimacy of father and daughter, Guruappa works a plot to kidnap Bindhu for a few days. He is sure that Bindhu's father will withdraw the nomination for the sake of his daughter.

Gurappa fixes the deal to Raj but he is not interested in this activity. Obviously Gurappa befriends his opponent and gives the deal to Mental Shivshanker (Subburaj). Raj intervenes at this stage because danger is really ahead for his lover Bindhu. So instead of Shivashanker kidnapping Bindhu it is Raju who does the job.

Bindhu is innocent of all these activities. In the clash of Raj, Shivshanker and Gurappa there are interesting turns when the police surface. Whether Raj wins the heart of Bindhu forms the rest of the plot?

Biaenca Desai's charm is engrossing. She looks tall and has understood the role very well. Raj in his debut has to improve a lot. Rangayana Raghu once again fits this kind of role. He is so good in dialogue delivery.

Arjun's songs are on top of every work in this film. `Galiye Nodu Baa.' penned by Jayanth Kaikini will be on top of the chart for a long time. `Kanna Sanneyali.' of Dr Nagendra Prasad is also of high quality.

Vijay Mohan's cinematography captures the mood very well. The Madikeri hilly region portion is exquisite.

Scoring - 7/10
