Tharshan attained huge popularity after his stint in 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan and was one of the mainstays on the show till the very end.  The 28-year-old Sri Lankan model has bagged a movie the details of which he has stated on social media he will reveal soon.

In the meantime actress Sanam Shetty has reportedly lodged a police complaint against Tharshan at the Commissioners Office in the city.  She has stated that the reality star promised to marry her and is now refusing to do so.

Tharshan on the show has acknowledged that he was in a relationship with a girl and at that Sanam had released a video that her presence affects the popularity of Tharshan and that she would not talk to him and that he is out of her life.  

Sanam Shetty has stated that she even went to Sri Lanka to speak to Tharshan's parents but they did not do anything to help her.  She has alleged that she and Tharshan were supposed to get married on June 10th and has also furnished the proof for their engagement. but he has backed out of the relationship.  She further accuses the model turned actor has spread rumours about her character that she is in illicit relationship with her costars.

Sanam has further shared with the media that she wants Tharshan to accept that she helped him in his career growth and also that there was a relationship and he was engaged to her and then ditched her.  Do watch our video below for the full details of the complaint.
