Yami Gautam is back from Ladakh and the pretty actress hasn't returned empty handed. Yami has brought back a basket of memories from her stay at Ladakh. One of her fondest memories is when she was walking down the by lanes near Lake Pangong, to witness the Ladakhi culture, she met an old lady who was very warm and welcoming and even helped her buy earrings like those of the Changpa women.

Yami was very fascinated with the warmth the residents of the valley had to offer in spite of the harsh extreme climates outside.

Yami spent time with the locals and researched for her look in the film as she wanted to not only look like them but also feel like them.

Yami has brought back a lot of Changpa style accessories and plans to wear the same with contemporary outfits while promoting her film 'Sanam Re'.
