Miscreants attacked the house of director Samy at West K K Nagar in Chennai this morning and damaged his car, reportedly protesting his recently-released 'Sindhu Samaveli', which talks about illicit relationship.
"I have been receiving threatening calls since the day the movie got released. Even my producer Michael Rayappan was flooded with phone calls warning him of dire consequences," the filmmaker said.
Stating that he had the handled an emotional issue in a proper way, Samy said, "even the Regional censor Board had given certification for the film and appreciated it. They instructed me to mute a couple of dialogues, which I obliged".
