Samvrutha is Mammukka's heroine

After the hit 'Pothenvava' which came more than half a decade ago, Samvrutha Sunil will once again become the heroine to Mammootty. This time they will be sharing the screen space for the movie. 'The King and the Commissioner' which is on sets at Kochy. Samvrutha Sunil will appear as a staff of the central secretariat in this movie which will have Mammootty as Joseph Alex I P S, who is currently with the Central Defence Department.
Sureshgopi will come up as BharathChandran IPS, who is now a senior office in the Delhi Police. Most of the portions of the movie will be shot in and around Delhi and will tell the political dramas that are witnessed in the capital city of India.
'The king and the Commissioner' will be an Onam release, brought to theatres by Playhouse.
