Samvrutha is getting ready to make her debut in Telugu. Rajashekar had bought the remake rights of the Dileep-starrer Lion. Initially, he had signed Simran up to play the female lead. But soon, she was removed from the film for various reasons. Rajashekar had then approached the likes of Nayantara and Shreya. They had refused the offer too. Finally, Samvrutha has stepped in to play the role that Kavya Madhavan starred in, in the original.
Samvrutha is all happy to make her debut in Telugu. With Uyir in Tamil getting ready for release and this Telugu movie opposite Rajasekhar happening, SamvruthaÂs career is looking up.
