Samuthirakani updates about Dhanush's 'VIP 2'

A few days back it was confirmed that the shooting of Dhanush's 'Velai Illa Pattadhari 2' is in progress.

Now actor-director Samuthirakani who has been retained in the sequel for the same role of the hero's father, he played in the first part will start shooting for the film from today.

Samuthirakani has been busy with his directorial proiject 'Thondan' in which he plays the lead role along with Vikranth. The first schedule of 'Thondan' has been wrapped up and now the National award winning actor will start shooting for 'VIP 2' from tomorrow (January 4, 2017).

'VIP 2' is being directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth with Dhanush and Amala Paul in lead role. Bollywood hot star Kajol is playing a pivotal role in this film.
