Samuthirakani, who was seen as a more or less low-intensity villain in 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', is going to be different in this Sankranthi's release, 'Krack'. If 'Theme of Katari', a song introducing his character, is anything to go by, the Kollywood actor has played a fearsome role in the actioner.
The song, rendered by Sri Krishna and Sai Charan, is written by Ramajogayya Sastry. With music by Thaman S, the lyrical video suggests that the villain has got a flashback alongside Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who too has a negative role.
Starring Ravi Teja as a merciless cop, 'Krack' is directed by Gopichand Malineni. Starring Shruti Haasan as the heroine, the film has cinematography by GK Vishnu.
The film will hit the screens on January 9 (Saturday). 'Krack' needs to earn Rs 20 Cr (share) to enter the profit zone at the box-office.
