Samuthirakani to act in another lady director's film

Samuthirakani has established himself as a powerful actor and a director with a genuine concern for the society. This week, his ambitious project 'Appa' which he has written and directed apart from starring in an important role will be hitting the screens. He has acted as a sincere and strict Government school Headmaster in last week's release 'Amma Kanakku' directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari.
Now if sources are to be believed, he will be acting in the lead role in a film to be directed by another female celebrity. Noted poetess and film lyricist Kutti Revathi is planning to direct a film and she is apparently in talks with Samuthirakani to play the lead role in it.
Revathi has penned super hit songs in Tamil films 'Maryan' and 'Maya' and has also released many poetry collections. She has also worked in the script department with Bharath Bala for the Dhanush-Parvathy starrer 'Maryan'.
We will have to wait for an official confirmation before taking any conclusions in this regard.
