Following the great accolades that is flowing to the actor- director for his cameo of a Naxalite leader Abdulla in Mohanlal's Ramzan movie 'Shikaar', Samuthirakani is now in the plans to direct a movie in Malayalam, that too with Superstar Mohanlal in the lead. Samuthirakani who is said to have got a positive nod from Lal, will start working on the scripts of this movie very soon.

The director of ‘Naadodigal' (Tamil) is currently busy, working with his favourite hero Sasikumar for another Tamil flick. Samuthirakani will start working on his first Malayalam movie, once this Tamil project is complete. The director who is more popular in Kerala as the villain of hit movie 'Subramaniapuram' will take the aid of a famous Malayalam scriptwriter to compose his Malayalam dialogues.
