'Thondan' and 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams'- Opening Performance

Actor-director Samuthirakani's 'Thondan' despite getting mixed reviews has managed to take a decent opening in Tamil Nadu Box office with the collections from the theatricals across the state hovering around Rs.3 crores.

Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar's biopic 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' has also performed well in theatres across Tamil Nadu with the opening weekend collections of around Rs.3 crores.

With the school holiday season extended to one more week, these two films are expected to perform better in the coming weeks and emerge successful.
