Samuthirakani replaces Dhanush

One of the busiest character actors in Kollywood Samuthirakani fresh from receiving the National Award for his stellar performance as the cop with grey shades in 'Visaranai' is doing an important role in a Malayalam flick titled 'Karinkunnam Sixes'.
The film directed by Deepu Karunakaran has Manju Warrier in the lead role as a volleyball coach of a prison team with Anoop Menon playing the role of her husband. The makers had originally approached Dhanush for the important role who could not do it and instead Samuthirakani has started shooting now.
