K.Balachander's last script for Samuthirakani

The most sought after character actor in Tamil cinema, Samuthirakani is returning to his roots and as a maverick director with the film Appa' which is drumming up a huge pre-release publicity with superstars like Anil Kapoor, Venkatesh and Shivraj Kumar in talks for the remake rights in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada respectively.
Now comes a sweet news for K. Balachander fans as Samuthirakani is all set to direct Kadavul Kanbom Vaa' which is the legendary director's final script. KB's family were delighted to give the rights to their father's former assistant director and more details about the project will be out in the coming days.
