K.Balachander's last script for Samuthirakani

The most sought after character actor in Tamil cinema, Samuthirakani is returning to his roots and as a maverick director with the film Appa` which is drumming up a huge pre-release publicity with superstars like Anil Kapoor, Venkatesh and Shivraj Kumar in talks for the remake rights in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada respectively.

Now comes a sweet news for K. Balachander fans as Samuthirakani is all set to direct Kadavul Kanbom Vaa` which is the legendary director`s final script. KB`s family were delighted to give the rights to their father's former assistant director and more details about the project will be out in the coming days.
