Samuthirakani's first day on set with Superstar

IndiaGlitz was the first to report that Samuthirakani will play an important role in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' to be directed by Pa.Ranjith and produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films banner. (Read: 'Thalaivar 161' gets this National Award winning Actor)
The makers are yet to officially announce the star cast of the film even as the shooting has begun in Mumbai from today (May 28, 2017). However Samuthirakani acting in the film has been confirmed. He has joined the first day shoot of 'Kaala' today in Mumbai. A photo featuring Samuthirkani with Ranjith is doing rounds in social media since this morning.This is Kani's first film with the Superstar as well as director Ranjith.
Huma Quereshi is touted to play the female lead in 'Kaala' which will have the music score of Santhosh Narayanan.
