Samuthirakani's 'Appa' Malayalam remake gets a release date

'Aakashamittayee', the Malayalam remake of Samuthirakani's Tamil directorial 'Appa' is all set to hit the theatres.
The movie which was earlier expected to release in September itself will now hit the big screens on October 6th.
This upcoming family drama which is also directed by Samuthirakani features Jayaram and Ineya as a married couple. 'Aakashamittayee' which is about the different approaches in child rearing also has Kalabhavan Shajohn in a pivotal role. Music is by Ilaiyaraja.
