Comedian Vadivelu, who had a fallout with the director of his super hit movie ‘Imsai Arasan 23rd pulikecei,’ Chimbu Deven, during the shoot of its second part, had apparently degraded the director and the movie’s producer Shankar during one of his recent interviews.
Vadivelu, in the interview, had called Shankar a “graphics director” and added that Chimbu Deven was a man who did not know cinema. The public humiliation has led several people from the industry to come out and talk in favour of Shankar and Chimbu Deven. After their altercation during the shoot of Imsai Arasan’s second part, Vadivelu had chosen to opt out of the movie. Following a complaint filed by Shankar at the Producers’ Council, Vadivelu was demanded to complete the movie before he moved on with his next project.
Samuthirakani took to his Twitter to condemn the comedian who had degraded his colleagues in the film industry, stating that his act was despicable and that he shouldn’t disrespect directors.
