Samuthirakani & Bharathiraja team up for a new film - Official announcement!

Samuthirakani is a prolific actor and filmmaker in the South Indian film industry. He is currently playing supporting roles in several films including 'Indian 2' & 'Game Changer' and also directing top Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan in the remake of his recent superhit directorial, 'Vinodhaya Sitham'.
Now, the latest is that Samuthirakani has signed a new film as a lead actor. The new movie, 'Production No 1', will be directed by Nanda Periasamy. The maker is known for his films 'Oru Kallooriyin Kadhai', 'Maathi Yosi' and 'Aandndham Vilayadum Veedu'. As per sources, this is going to be a thriller film also starring Ananya, Nasser and Bharathiraja.
This venture went on the floors with a puja ceremony today and also the shooting commenced. The filming will take place in Meghamalai, Kumuli and Munnar regions on the Kerala border in a single schedule. The untitled film's technical team has Vishal Chandrasekhar as the music director, Sukumar as the DOP and Dinesh Subbarayan as the stunt master.
