Two sequels at a time for Samuthirakani

Director Samuthirakani's 'Appa' was one of the critically acclaimed super hits of the year 2016. The film was widely acclaimed for its portrayal of plight of school kids studying in private schools and also their parents.
Now on the occasion of Father's day, that is on June 17,2018, Samuthirakani has announced that the sequel to 'Appa' has started rolling. 'App 2' will also have Samuthirakani in the lead role along with the adolescent kids who played important roles in the first part.
More details about the cast and crew of 'Appa 2' can be expected to arrive soon.
It must be noted that Samuthirakani is already directing the 'Nadodigal 2', the sequel to his 2009 super hit 'Nadodigal'.
