Director Sampath Nandi awaits the release of 'Seetimaarr' this Friday (September 10). It's his most important release in recent years. While he is keeping his fingers crossed, IndiaGlitz spoke to the 'Racha' filmmaker to know about his plans to direct a Chiranjeevi movie. Nandi recently called on the 'Acharya' actor to seek his blessings ahead of the release of the Gopichand-starrer, 'Seetimaarr'.
Speaking about teaming up with the legendary actor, Nandi said, "His blessings are always with me. His appreciation counts a lot. As for doing a film with him, I sincerely wish that it comes true. It's my dream to work with him. 'Yamudiki Mogudu' was my first movie in a theatre. I was 6th or 7th Standard. Till then, I hadn't watched a movie. Since that day, I have been a big fan of his. I am eagerly waiting for an opportunity to work with him."
What kind of a movie can we expect from Nandi if he were to direct Chiru? "The kind of films that you expect from him, you will see from me. 'Gharana Mogudu', Rowdy Alludu' and 'Gang Leader' had the vintage Chiranjeevi. I will make one such entertainer that will be loved by today's audiences," Nandi told us.
Years ago, Nandi was to helm a Power Star movie. Is it happening anytime soon? "I haven't met Pawan Kalyan garu in a long time. I and he have had a healthy relationship. I might get to meet him soon," the director said.
