Mohankrishna Indraganti's films throw up strong characters.  'Ashta Chamma', 'Gentleman' and 'Ami Tumi' are just three examples.  'Sammohanam', it seems, can be expected to live up to the director's track record.

Sudheer Babu plays a children's book illustrator in this seemingly thought-provoking movie.  Aditi Rao Hydari, who was recently seen in Mani Ratnam's 'Cheliyaa' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat', seems to be in the showbiz, entertaining the audience as a heroine.  There is this undercurrent of the male lead valuing knowledge over things superficial.  He prefers literature over cinema.  While Sameera, the heroine, is his antithesis.  Or so it seems.  

Romance and comedy are said to be the film's hallmarks.  Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Nandu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Pavithra Lokesh, Kadambari Kiran, Hari Teja, Kedar Shankar, Abhay and Harshini are part of the cast.
