'Jai Chiranjeeva' and 'Narasimhudu' actress Sameera Reddy has opened up on a couple of unsavoury incidents that she faced when she started out in films in the early 2000s. The multi-lingual actress, without taking the names of those who harassed her verbally, said in her latest interview that she was expected to move freely with male co-stars in the name of socialization.
Sharing one of the incidents, the 'Ashok' actress recounted that she was once made to do a kissing scene after being signed up for the movie. Although the scene was not part of the script, Sameera was expected to do it. When she refused, the makers asked her why she was not doing it when she had done a kissing scene in a Hindi film.
Earlier this month, Sameera revealed that she weighed 102 kilos immediately after pregnancy. "It took me 2 years more to lose the weight and to step out and face the world again but I wish I had the courage then. I did it naturally with no fad diets, no easy way out. Only with a dedicated workout, yoga, pilates and strength training," the 41-year-old actor said.
