The Indian entertainment industry is witnessing a bad year not only in loss of revenue for millions due to the coronavirus pandemic but also for the loss of lives due to various reasons. Only a month and a half ago Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide and was found hanging on his bedroom ceiling.

Now comes yet another shock as popular television actor cum model Sameer Sharma has also died by apparent suicide. It is said that the watchman of his apartment Neha CHS building of Malad West, Mumbai was strolling in the night when he discovered a body hanging from the kitchen and called the police.

The police found 44-year-old Sameer Sharma hanging but found no suicide note and have registered the case as accidental death and taken the body for postmortem. The actor is famous for playing Kuhu’s father in Star Plus’ show 'Yeh Rishety Hain Pyaar Ke' had taken the extreme step two days back and the reason is yet to be known as it is said that he was living alone.
