Samanyudu
There is a hero in every one of us. It only needs an occasion or a situation for the hero to emerge. But some wait for the occasion while some others choose to go for it.
Ravi C Kumar has shaped Samanyadu as a bit of both.
Samanyadu is about you, me and everybody else. And that is the attraction of it all, says the director.
This political masala entertainer has the feel of a well-cooked meal --- having every ingredient and carrying every flavor ---- to suit diverse palates.
The story is broadly about a man ---- an everyday man, if you will ---- forced to rise up against forces of evil and trouble due to circumstances.
Jagapatahi Babu plays the Samanyadu, who becomes the hero.
It is a role that fits Jagapathi Babu very well. He has a smoldering fire inside that when tapped by the right man can be an explosive and impressive.
Ravi C Kumar, whom we all knew as Ravi Chavali, has managed to bring the latent talent of Jagapathi Babu to the fore.
Jagapathi Babu also needed somebody like Ravi as his last few movies have not been any great shakes.
Kamna Jethmalani also needs this one to be big. Again, launched with fanfare, this pocket powerhouse of glamour and glitz, has not much success to show for her efforts. Kamna hopes Samanyadu would provide her career the much-needed impetus.
Produced on R R Movie Makers banner, Samanyudu also Sai Kumar, Vinod Kumar and Dasari Vijay Kumar in pivotal characters.
Sai Kumar is the arch villain in the movie. The story has thrills, spills, comedy, emotions and also family sentiments, says the director.
Vandemataram Srinivas is providing the music. Some songs are shot abroad. Currently one of them is being shot in Malaysia.
Producer Venkat plans to release the movie by September end
K Achi Reddy presents the film.
