The talkie part of 'Samanyudu' directed by Ravi and produced by Venkat on the banner of RR Movie Makers with Jagapathi Babu and Kamna Jethmalani was concluded recently.

Presenter of the film K Achireddy says, 'The film shoot is almost complete but for the canning of two songs. They would be shot between September 2 and 10 at Malaysia under the choreography of Prasanna. The film, which has all elements that could attract the youth, would be released by the end of this month. Another specialty of this film is that Saikumar is playing the villain character.'

Saikumar says, 'The film is being done on political backdrop. The moment director Ravi narrated the subject, I just felt thrilled. I entered the film industry some three decades ago as a child artiste. I played hero for the past 13 years. But I never came across such role in my career. The audiences could find a melodrama in by performance and body language. I am confident that I would bag Nandi award for next year for playing villain in this film. Earlier, I worked with Jagapati Babu in 'Mother India and Antahpuram' films and it is a nice experience to work with Vinodkumar and Arunkumar as well.'

Archana says, 'This is a challenging role for me also. I did never do one such role in my career.'

Director Ravi C Kumar says, 'After shooting, we looked at the rushes. After gaining confidence that our film will do well, we started giving publicity.' Co-producer Vemula Suresh Reddy says, 'The subject of the film would go beyond the imaginations of the audiences and we are also giving a good message to the society through film. We are sure that the film would enhance the image of our banner.'
