The shooting of 'Samanyudu' (The hero) directed by Ravi C Kumar, produced by Venkat and presented by K.Achireddy on the banner of RR Movie makers with Jagapati Babu and Kamna Jethmanali in the lead had almost completed its shoot, but for the canning of two songs.

Presenter of the film Achireddy says, 'The remaining two songs are planned to be shot at Malaysia involving the hero and heroine from September 2 to 10. In fact 'Samanyudu' is a multi-starrer film. It has Saikumar, Vinodkumar and Dasari Arunkumar also in the lead. Saikumar would sport a new look in this film. Our movie is aimed at mass, family and youth audiences. We will complete the post-production works soon and release the film by the end of September.'

Saikumar says, 'I am playing an anti-hero role in this film. I really felt thrilled after listening to the subject. The film will have a political backdrop and at the same time it is a realistic and commercial entertainer. I will appear in a different way in this film. I am sure that it will be another challenging role for me.'

Archana says, 'My role in this film is also quite challenging and it has good scope to perform.'
