Samantha's stardom in Telugu is not in doubt. She is in the good books of Mahesh Babu, has signed films opposite Ram Charan, has a Deva Katta film with Chai and is all set to sign many more big projects. The screen scorcher is gearing up to take the Tamil audience by storm. Just as Ye Maya Chesave, Brindavanam and Dookudu have catapulted her status in Telugu, she is banking on two Tamil films to do the magic.

Come summer, movie buffs will get to see the entry of top Tollywood filmmaker S S Rajamouli into Kollywood, with 'Naan Ee', a socio-fantasy bilingual being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. The flick has Nani, Samantha and Sudeep in lead roles.

"Samantha is currently banking on two films to improve her fortunes in Kollywood. One is Nee Thane En Ponvasantham directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and the other is Naan Ee. The movie has offered her a meaty role", a little bird tells us.

Rajamouli, who is known for smartly packaging his movies to ensure that they provide a treat to the audience, has roped in Santhanam for 'Naan Ee'. The movie is being made with a whopping budget, a major share of which is being spent on special effects.
