Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her debut with the film Ye Maya Chesave in Telugu. She has revealed today that her father Joseph Prabhu has passed away. She took to Instagram and wrote an emotional post.

Samantha shared her father's picture and wrote “Until we meet again, Dad," accompanied by a broken heart emoji.

Samantha mentioned multiple times that her father Joseph Prabhu has supported a lot in career and even played an integral part in shaping her personality. Samantha's father is a Telugu Anglo-Indian.

Samantha's father was seen very less in public events and other functions. Most of the times, it was her mother who accompanied Samantha. After Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya’s marriage ended in October 2021, her father Joseph took to Facebook and shared that it took a lot of time for the family to come in terms with everything.

The news of her father’s passing has left fans and well-wishers extending their condolences to the actress during this difficult time.
