It's known that Akkineni Samantha and Aadhi Pinisetty are doing a film titled 'U-Turn'. The news is that the thriller's second schedule has begun.

The 'Rangasthalam' actors are upbeat about the progress of this promising film.  This is the Telugu and Tamil remake of the Kannada supernatural thriller 'U-Turn'.  Directed by Pawan Kumar, it's produced by Srinivas Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. 

What is its premise?  "It tells the story of a journalist who unravels the mystery of motorists losing their lives on a particular flyover.  None other than Samantha is playing the journo," the makers say.  They are counting on Samantha's natural performance.  Aadhi Pinisetty is playing the film's versatile male lead.

The makers describe 'U-Turn' as universal, transcending the barriers of language.  "Since it is also a supernatural thriller, we are very careful in dealing with the story.  We began shooting last month and have finished the first schedule.

The current schedule is being shot on a special booth bungalow set.  Rahul Ravindran is also taking part in the schedule," the makers say.  

Actor Naren has a key role, while Bhumika Chawla is a surprise package.   Niketh Bommi is the cinematographer.
